The USGA recently re-rated the Sterling Farms Golf Course. The new Men’s Course & Slope ratings are:
BLACK – 6,423 – 72.0/129
BLUE – 6,227 – 71.1/127
WHITE – 5,899 – 69.6/123
GOLD – 5,423 – 67.3/118
The new ratings have already been entered into the GHIN system, so when you post scores on the Pro Shop computer or via your phone, the proper numbers should automatically appear. However, I have heard of a problem from one player who tested the system on the GHIN ”My Game” page and found some quirky numbers. So please be alert and let us know if you have any difficulties.
Also, the USGA rates the course based on the conditions they find on the day that they visit. On the day that they visited Sterling, the tees happened to be forward a bit, hence the loss of yardage.
