March 2014 SFMC Minutes – 3/11/14 – 7:30pm

Jeff Mayfield, Steve Carriero, Chris Velander, Joe Sargis, Stuart Bufferd, Frank Rubino, Bob Morris, Pete Silver, Howard Kraus, JR, Marc Schultz & Jimmy Romaniello.
Not Present;
Mitchell Schepps, John McGroarty, Billy Lombardo, Bart Weissman, Tom Aberle & Steve Scorziello.
Jeff Mayfield;
Advised Board that as of March 11, 2014 there were 71 members.
Discussed the Senior age requirement for the Men’s Club of 65 versus the Senior age of 62 for Sterling Farms. No further action taken.
Discussion of the possibility of a 9 hole Wednesday afternoon league. Group decided that some SF members could organize but the Men’s Club would not be involved.
Jeff said that the talk was that the course would be opening the last weekend in March which would put the Men’s Club calendar right on date.

Reminded Board that we need to discuss with the Pro Shop for the weekly Saturday & Sunday Closest to the Pin Contest on Hole # 15. We discussed making it a 50/50 prize split and that there would be a $5.00 per shot fee to enter. Jeff will reach out to Angela & Paul for further discussion.
