Here’s your 2015 Sentinel Maintenance Player of the Year!

On a cold, blustery day with rays of sunshine giving way to intermittent periods of driving snow, scores soared, but one player managed to tame the elements in order to claim Sentinel Maintenance Player of the Year. Congratulations to Tom Aberle! He bested the field to win the big prize.

For those who are truly interested in how the points work, the formula is this:

All previous points are erased going into the final day’s competition. The final eight players begin the day with new values, with the 1st place guy starting at 800 and the 8th place guy starting at 100:

1. 800
2. 700
3. 600
4. 500
5. 400
6. 300
7. 200
8. 100

Those eight players earn the below points based on their net performance on the final day:

1. 808
2. 707
3. 606
4. 505
5. 404
6. 303
7. 202
8. 101

Add the two values together and top man wins.

This concludes the Men’s Club Season. Thank you all for participating and making this a great year of golf. On behalf of the entire men’s club board, we look forward to seeing you in the spring!
