In a hard-fought battle, Sterling Farms eked out just enough points to retain the Interclub title. Hubbard got off to a fast start on Saturday, leading 35/28 after Day 1. Sterling Farms returned the favor on Sunday, winning 35 points to Hubbard’s 28. It all added up to a 63-63 tie. By rule, just like the Ryder Cup, tie goes to the cup holder.
It was a pressure-packed event for both teams, with every player grinding it out until the end.
