Sterling Farms Men’s Club – Player Code of Conduct
For over 40 years the Sterling Farms Men’s Club has fostered a history of keen and fair competition on one of the finest public courses in the state, Sterling Farms Golf Course. Our tournaments are congenial and competitive, and a common love of the game has created many friendships that have lasted for decades. Furthermore, our members are true competitors and over the years have represented well at various tournaments at the state, regional and national levels. The Men’s Club’s success has not gone unnoticed. The membership has grown to close to 400 members, making it one of the largest public men’s clubs in New England!
One of the reasons for our success is our reputation for fostering camaraderie and a sense of belonging within our community. How we conduct ourselves on the golf course is a very important component of fostering this reputation. All SFMC members must adhere to the Sterling Farms player code of conduct policy.
This includes maintaining a positive attitude and refraining from offensive and disrespectful language or behavior towards fellow golfers, staff, and officials. Additionally, if anyone is found to be in violation of the code of conduct policy with behavior that is detrimental to the welfare of golf, the course on which it is played, the Club or the community in general, that person will face disciplinary action that can include expulsion from the club. This is in accordance with our Club By-Laws Section 7.
