February 2026

Date/Time/Location: Tuesday, February 11^th  Board Room; 7PM Start – 8:30PM End

In Attendance: J McHugh, Jack McGroarty, B Weissman, T Chang, B Ward, H Kraus, S Mazer, J Romaniello, C Terzian, John McGroarty, G Collins, B Ukperaj

Not in Attendance: J Paladino, D Persaud

1. Club Operations
   • Board update – Andrew Snyder has informed of his decision to resign from the board. Board agreed to proceed with current level of board members but will recruit through word of mouth to identify potential members who are both passionate and willing to support the club as a board member.
   • Sponsors
     1. Active Dog replacing Sentinel Maintenance as POY sponsor effective immediately
     2. 10 sponsors confirmed for year with welcoming our newest sponsor Riko’s Pizza to the club
   • 2026 Membership Drive
     1. 105 signups to date (down from 114 vs. YA)
   • 2026 Budget Update – assuming we can reach 350 members, will have funds to help subsidize Member Member and Member Guest to alleviate rising costs
   • Scholarship Donations
     1. $730 to date
     2. $17,838 in savings account
   • 2025 Taxes – in process with H&R Block

2. 2025 Year in Review … discuss survey results

3. • Biggest issues are non-resident tee time attainment & scheduling 1v1 matches
   • Major event fees noted as getting expensive … will look to use club funds to subsidize while not operating at a loss
4. Tee Sign Sponsorships – email will be sent out to club in next 30 days soliciting tee sign sponsors … $100 for 4 events
5. 2026 Tournament Calendar

• Up and running for 2026
• Closing Event is Saturday this year
• 2025 Member Guest: New flighting system was well received. Will continue and consider for Member Member

5. Golf Genius Management (Dave)
   1. Dave & Seizo to lead
   2. Additional training for board members
   3. Weekly Event Management protocol

6. Trophies

• Sentinel Maintenance owner Marc Schultz retiring trophy
• New trophy for 2026 in the works…
• New trophy case built by outsource. Looking at options

7. Rules / Rules Seminar

• MGA to host a webinar TBD – between now and mid-April
• Hole by hole rules on SFMC website … ask of board to review and provide any areas for clarification i.e. boundary fence local rule adjustment to include ANY boundary fence regardless of and openable gate or movable entrance gate.

1. Handicap

• Working on communication about posting scores to GHIN within certain time frame after round or be subject to discipline
• Audit committee to monitor for multi-round events and general fair play
