It’s that time again. Time for 3-putts, slices, dribbles, and, heaven forbid, hosel rockets. We all love this humbling, humiliating game because we’re nuts. The Sterling Farms Men’s Club understands. We exist to promote fun, fair competition for masochists of all skill levels.
We offer free weekend events throughout the golf season in three different handicap brackets. This year, we’re putting more prize money into those events. A gross or net weekend win will now be worth $20 in pro shop credit, a second will be worth $15 and so on down to 7th net for a full field.
In the same spirit, we’re increasing the prize money in the Sentinel Maintenance Player of the Year race, with the top prize now moving to $400! That means you want to rack up as many POY points as possible throughout the season in order to make it to the Final 8 and have a shot at the big prize. As always, please thank Marc Schultz and his team at Sentinel Maintenance for donating the prize money.
What else does your membership to the Sterling Farms Men’s Club entitle you? Just look:

For all you new guys or singles, remember, we offer a New Member’s/Single’s List designed to help you connect with other golfers. Simply ask to have your name and email address added to the list and we will send it to every other golfer on the list. That way, if you’re looking for a game or someone is looking for a player to fill a slot, you can easily make arrangements.
We continue to encourage Twitter users to try the hashtag #sterlingfarmsmc. It doesn’t get much use, but it may in time. We also have a Facebook page at Sterling Farms Men’s Club Facebook.
Yes, golf season is almost here. Now that you’ve had a few months to regain your sanity, what better way to lose it again than with your friends at the Sterling Farms Men’s Club. Sign up today at sterlingfarmsmc.com.
